AP Style - down payment
Latest AP style update: "down payment" as two words.
(That's also the style about 10-1 when searched on Google. But I note a fair number of businesses using the one-word form, so this could be in flux before long.)
But if you write it as two words, you must remit $.10 immediately to AP (there is tracking code embedded, so they will know). They will also accept a downpayment of $.02, and the rest on account.
