The top editors at The State, South Carolina's largest paper, have started blogging.

And the comments are enabled. Let the fun begin.

Actually, this isn't entirely voluntary. McClatchy, The State's new owner after the Knight Ridder buyout, requires its executive editors to blog. It's just that EE Mark Lett is spreading the fun around to ME Tonnya Kennedy Kohn, Deputy ME Steve Brook, Features Editor Betsey Gusior and Neighbors Editor Dawn Kujawa.
