Jacksonville Jive?

A pointer from Romenesko today to an alt weekly's stories about supposed plagiarism sprinkled with porn and religion at Jacksonville's Florida Times Union promises some hot times in the old town -- or if nothing else, some interesting reading.

Only had a chance to scan the article. First impression is that given the T-U's checkered past, anything's possible. But like so many alt weekly stories, this one's hurt a bit by the "I've got an ax to grind" attitude that seeps through. Nevertheless, stay tuned. The T-U has now formed a plagiarism panel.
