Greensboro layoffs

The dust is settling in Greensboro a bit after last week's layoffs at the News and Record.

It's worth reading Editor John Robinson's blog post about it, and Ed Cone's -- not just for their thoughts but especially for the comments from others. Thre's a fair amount of chaff, but quite a bit of valuable wheat in those comments, too. They reflect the gut-wrenching changes the news business is going through.
