Fair use explained (with Disney's help)

Thanks to a pointer from the newspaper video group on Yahoo, I just found this great piece online about copyright and fair use.

Done by Professor Eric Faden of Bucknell University, "A Fair(y) Use Tale" is being distributed by the Fair Use Project at Stanford Law School. You can watch on YouTube, use the stream from the Stanford site or download an MP4 (for the first 10 minutes of that 8 a.m. class!).

The probably ought to be recommended watching in every newsroom (and why not give your kid a start on law school while you're at it - curl up with the boy or girl and some popcorn {grin} -- you can even play "how many of these characters can you identify).
