Meanwhile, Carl Bialik, the Wall Street Journal's "Numbers Guy," says it's turning out that online polls are turning out to be as accurate as other methods. There still is the longstanding debate of controls for who exactly is answering the questions, but one of the offsets noted is that people may be more inclined to answer honestly when all they do is push a button.
