Upset in Knoxville - the readers write

Bob Stepno, late of Connecticut who now professes his journalism at the University of Tennesee, has a thought-provoking entry based on readers' comments about the Knoxville News-Sentinel. (See my earlier about how it appeared the paper and TVs missed the chance to do a good story about the massive traffic jam over the holdays on I-40.)

The gist: The readers have sensed declining quality. One reader posits that it looks as though the paper's only got seven or eight reporters doing everything (not quite true, I'm sure, but it's appearances that count).
