Happy Birthday HVTD

Hartsville Today turned a year old on Friday. No big celebration, but a leap of joy in my heart as I checked the usage statistics.

For all the flaws this number has (includes spiders, robots, glancing hits, etc.), we still have more than 10,300 visits for this month (and with a day to go are likely to be close to 11,000). This is the first month in which the site has reached this milestone -- not bad in a town and surrounding area of about 20,000.

The thanks all go to the people of Hartsville who have grown to embrace and contribute to the site and to the Messenger for co-sponsoring it.
