Online video vs. TV video

Following up on the discussion here and elsewhere about how to judge online video ...

Before we got into it here, Mark Cuban had an interesting analogy: online=snacks vs. TV=a meal.




Meanwhile, Mark Hamilton may have hit on a good distinction: story-showing vs. storytelling. The "showing" is the 10- or 20-second video clip that augments the rest of the online story. The "telling" is the fullly produced package. I like that terminology.
