Soundslides tutorial
One of the great legacies of Multimedia Shooter was the video tutorials Rich Hernandez had available.
Here is a link to one of them, where he shows you how to use Soundslides Plus. (Quicktime - warning, when I played it, the audio was out of synch with the video about halfway in. But not so that you can't follow it.)

I looked at this to show my students, and was so put off by "old hag" that I will not use it.
