Using the "marathon" hashtag to promote a golf tournament?

Maybe I'm being hypersensitive here, but this might be one of the more off-tone tweets I've seen since the Boston bombing.

Actually using the #marathon hashtag to promote a paper's photo coverage of a local golf tournament -- "in case you missed it" (ICYMI)?

Seriously?

The least that should happen is that she should lose access to company Twitter accounts. I wouldn't argue with anyone who considered this a firing offense.

Well since she's the editor of the paper I don't think she can "lose access to company Twitter accounts." Fail.

There was no common sense used when posting this tweet. Like most Americans today, common sense does not come easily,it is something that is almost learned, therefore loosing the whole meaning of it. We are not a very smart nation and common sense has a lot to do with it. First we need to start using common sense and then we can start learning from the books. I hope one day the United States will become a smarter nation.
