New York Press Association

We're in the middle of the NYPA session now. We're talking about Web 2.0 and easy ways to monitor social media, easy/cheap ways to set up sharing on your site, and ways to become part of the conversation.

So, how about everyone out there chipping in. Add your advice in the comments. What would you tell small-newspaper publishers? What are the top five things they absolutely must know and the sites they have to go to to learn it. Chime in...

And then, if you want to use Google as a search engine, try using Soople as the interface -- and try other search engines such as Rollyo.

We've found ning.com to be an inepensive and quick way to set up a social media site.
