Nieman-Goodbye Gutenberg
Catching up on stuff and just checked in on Nieman Reports, where the winter edition is devoted to the future of newspapers. OK, Nieman's weighed in -- it's official.
Still, an exhaustive read on the subject with some good thoughts (if you don't mind a bit of rehash).
Read it on the Web now or wait a couple of months to get the downloadable form for future use.
While you're at it, read Mitchell Stephens' article in the Columbia Journalism Review in which he argues that newspapers' new job will be to sell "wisdom."
