Note to Washington Post and NYT
I keep wondering when the Washington Posts's Web site will join the modern age and start putting the story's address link on its print-formatted pages.
Same for the New York Times. It's especially helpful to researchers who have to document the link that was available at the time the article was printed.
If the L.A. Times, Chicago Trib and others can routinely do it, why can't these two?
(The Wall Street Journal goes even further and provides a footnoted address for every link in the story. Do you wonder why it can charge and people will pay?)
